• While volunteering at a law office, I answered phone calls, helped with paperwork, and welcomed clients. In addition, I scheduled appointments for people who wanted to come in.
• While volunteering at Surrey Christian Elementary, I volunteered in a grade 1 classroom and worked alongside the students. I read to them in small groups and helped them learn the pronunciation of words. I gained patience and understood how to lead groups of people.

• I got involved with my school's community and joined Language Partners—a group where you build connections with international students. As part of our school community, we would help them feel included and provide support.
• I was an active school leadership team member and helped plan school events and fundraisers.
• The ceramics class I took after school was a memorable experience for me. Throughout the course, I learned how to use the pottery wheel as a beginner.
• Being a part of a volleyball club team has taught me the true meaning of teamwork and how I can contribute positively to a group setting. I have learned discipline and resilience from not giving up in difficult situations.
