
Willing to work a position on the floor while coaching the team to achieve daily KPIs.
● Supervise, motivate and train team members and provide input to RGM when performance issues arise.
● Provide positive recognition and corrective coaching when appropriate.
● Ensure team members provide the highest possible level of customer satisfaction through service and product quality.
● Initiate necessary actions to correct customer complaints and escalate any major issues to RGM.
● Ensure team members are properly executing current promotions and new products during the shift.
● Ensure team member uniforms and appearances are neat, professional, clean at all times and meet necessary
requirements.
● Ensure proper staffing and deployment throughout the shift to match business needs.
● Monitors and maintains correct inventory levels (product & supply) and notifies management when levels are low.
● Assists with ordering as assigned.
● Ensure the restaurant is ready for peak revenue periods by utilizing appropriate planning and projection tools.
● Assists in ensuring sales and profit targets are met.
● Ensure Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes and corporate safety/security policies and
procedures are met and followed.
● Respond to emergency situations as required and communicate to management immediately.
● Assist in recruiting and selecting qualified, high energy team members using approved tools and systems.
● Assist with the training of new team members.
● Assist with the communication and administration of company policies.
● Ensure proper communication takes place during shift change.
● All other management duties as assigned
● Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs and new product / promotional
rollouts.
● The Shift Manager is part of the team, so working in the field remains the main part of the role (cooking in the kitchen,
packing, cashiering and drive-through). The Director should expect to work full shifts in the positions listed in this point.
● The Shift Manager will be an integral part of the cleaning team, as the entire team is responsible for keeping the
restaurant clean including Management: equipment, walls, floors, counters, desk, windows, doors, employee and
customer restrooms, as well as any other areas that need to be cleaned in or out of the restaurant. This includes, but is
not limited to, sweeping, mopping and washing dishes
