Welcoming customers, conducting vehicle walk-arounds, and listening to concerns.
Explaining repair options and costs clearly to non-technical clients.
Translating customer needs into work orders and relaying them to technicians.
Preparing repair orders, calculating labor and parts costs, and upselling preventative maintenance.
Scheduling appointments, tracking repair progress, and processing payments.
Receiving, unpacking, inspecting, and storing stock. Tracking inventory levels and using dealer management software to log parts in and out.
Locating needed parts, submitting orders to suppliers, and coordinating deliveries to ensure service technicians have what they need to complete repairs.
