  • In collaboration with an interdisciplinary clinical team, the mental health and addictions nurse provides support, assessment and education to patients with mild to complex mental health and substance abuse issues.  
  • Effectively implements strategies to deal with the de-escalation of agitated and violent patients

  • Provide support and/or intervention in complex issues such as refusal to attend treatment, self harm, suicide or violent behavior
