Work History

Process Engineer

Worley
01.2019 - Current
  • Focused on the Flare Analysis for the two new compression plants at Shedgum and Uthmaniyah as well as the Shedgum Gas Plants. Verified new scope and brownfield relief valve sizing working with a third party Flare contractor. Verified flarenet model from previous 2019 flare contractor (Siemens) and new flare contractor (IoMosaic) for the 2024 project. Developed the equipment design and process design of the new flare systems in the Gas Compression Plants and new proposed flare systems in the Shedgum Gas Plant. Design development focused on the Flare Gas Recovery System for the compression plant adding value to the project and evaluating the existing capacity of Gas Plant FGRS systems.

Process Engineer Level II for Flare Systems

SAUDI ARAMCO UTHMANIYAH AND SHEDGUM GAS COMPRESSION PROJECT RESTART
02.2024 - 07.2025
  • Design Development to help the Denver Suncor refinery find an adequate Flare KO Drum to meet capacity and radiation requirements. Optimize tie ins to accommodate multiple options for the client after the 2026 TAR. Design Development for new overprotection pressure relief devices on existing heat exchangers for when each equipment are isolated for a new service defined by the client.

Process Engineer and CAD Coordinator

SILA Nanotechnologies Balance of Plant for Silicon Anode Production
01.2023 - 01.2024
  • Engaged in a high-energy project supporting SILA by overseeing engineering aspects of balance of plant facilities and equipment to align with their 2024 milestone objective. Conducted FEL-3 level calculations and produced necessary documentation for the acquisition of critical equipment ahead of detailed engineering phase. During detailed engineering, supervised a team of engineers in India to bolster resources for accelerated calculations and drafting. Conducted on-site visits to assess existing equipment and piping for potential demolition or repurposing in the new plant.

Process Engineer and CAD Coordinator

Saudi Aramco Master Gas System Expansion
01.2022 - 01.2023
  • Successfully implemented a data-centric design approach on P&ID drawings. This enabled the replication of identical deliverables for four compression stations simultaneously. I effectively coordinated design work between two offices, ensuring the production of drawings for every milestone of the project. Additionally, I conducted thorough review sessions with clients to guarantee the safe design and operability of all equipment and instrumentation before proceeding with detailed design.

Process Engineer

Chevron El Segundo Heat Integration & Debottlenecking Project
01.2022 - 01.2022
  • Conducted FEL 2 Level calculations to accurately determine the extent of equipment replacement and assess project feasibility according to the Process Design Basis. Despite the project's delayed start, efficiently accelerated the development of process deliverables to meet the turnaround deadline. Collaborated with other disciplines at Worley to provide ongoing support for process checking and ensure the completion of the project package.

Process Engineer

Philips 66 Rodeo Renewed Renewable Diesel Project
01.2021 - 01.2022
  • Successfully optimized the design of a refinery, converting it to produce renewable products from tallow material and industrial oil materials. Conducted various engineering calculations including hydraulic analysis, material balances, heat loss calculations, and equipment sizing. Developed essential project documents such as P&IDs, PFDs, equipment datasheets, line lists, and control philosophy. Actively participated in HAZOP reviews and Piping Model reviews. Demonstrated leadership as the process champion, supporting the project with early tie-in work packages and expediting project completion. Ensured project integrity by generating internal MOC for issued documents during the construction phase, documenting scope changes, and updating the project budget.

Piping Engineer

Chevron El Segundo Refinery Projects
01.2019 - 01.2020
  • Responsible for overseeing the piping engineering aspects of projects focused on updating burners for low NOx emissions and retrofitting relief systems. Played a key role in enhancing the quality of work within the Piping Engineering team by cross-referencing material data with live PIDs from the process team to ensure all components were accounted for prior to the refinery's turnaround date. Compiled project line lists by consolidating data from various disciplines such as Mechanical, Process, and Piping Design to provide vendors with accurate information on pipe spool requirements. Utilized Piping software such as CAESARII and Navisworks to offer technical support to the project. Collaborated closely with the Procurement team to select the most suitable vendor products for implementing the engineered design during the construction phase of the project.

Process Engineer

Saudi Aramco Shedgum & Uthmaniyah Gas Compression Plants (FEED)
01.2019 - 01.2019
  • Wrote reports on Flare Systems and developing various project deliverables such as BFDs, PFDs, Equipment Lists, Chemical Summaries, Process Philosophy Drawings, and Value Assurance Reports. Ensured consistency in Process Datasheets, Line Lists, Equipment Lists, and reports according to the Worley standard. Collaborated with Mechanical, Electrical, Vessels, and Instrumentation and Control disciplines for document interfacing. Skilled in using Aspen HYSYS, Bluebeam, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suites.
