Surgical ICU Involvement

In my role as a Clinical Resource Nurse at Cottage Hospital, I have co-chaired the unit’s Shared Governance Council and contributed to multiple improvement projects, including a reorganization of supply par levels. I have had the opportunity to provide education by teaching the pacemaker section of the open heart class and delivering presentations at staff meetings on topics such as voice forms and lumbar drains. Additionally, I serve on both the Mentor Committee and Stroke Committee, supporting professional development and advancing patient care initiatives. I am passionate about collaboration, education, and mentorship, and I strive to enhance team performance by sharing knowledge and fostering growth.
