To leverage my extensive experience with the YMCA and passion for community development in the role of Manager, Camp Alumni Development. I aim to strengthen the connection between alumni and YBC Camps by creating meaningful engagement opportunities, driving fundraising efforts, and contributing to the overall success of YMCA BC and its members.
As Assistant Director of Administration and Parent/Camper Relations at YMCA Camp Elphinstone, I am deeply committed to ensuring camp runs smoothly and efficiently. My role is multifaceted, encompassing the management of daily administrative functions and serving as the primary liaison between the camp and our camper families. I focus on creating a welcoming and supportive environment where parents feel heard, understood, and confident in the care their children receive.
As an Account Administration, I currently manage camper registration, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service to families. I oversee the entire registration process, ensuring data integrity in the ActiveNet Database and handling payments efficiently. My role includes preparing essential documentation for camp staff, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, and supporting summer programs and execution. I collaborate closely with the Healthy Child Development Managers to meet all administrative needs. I have strong familiarity with the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) processes, ensuring that all relevant guidelines are followed. With strong organizational and communication skills, I effectively manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with YMCA programs and values is a key asset in my role.
