Owners engineering technical specialist for Suncor's Coke Boiler Replacement Project to install 260kV substation and transmission systems with 800MW of Cogeneration, which covered:

  • Provided technical review and advice for electrical engineering design of power system from generation through to grid-connected transmission
  • Implementation of facility protection system design and specialty applications such as hands-on testing of island management and facility OLRAS
  • Ensuring engineering design compliance for AESO functional specification requirements, ISO rules, and Alberta Reliability Standards
  • Provided technical analysis of all power system dynamic studies outputs for both interconnected and islanded conditions
  • Providing key technical support for construction and commissioning when technical issues arose during installation and testing activities
