I am an experienced Housekeeper of more then 13 years and with over 7 years of Lead Hand experience in the Housekeeping Department. I am trained in every area in the hospital as well as on all equipment, this includes specialty areas such as the waste room and operating room as well. I have in depth and first hand knowledge of what each job entails as well as the timing and schedule each area adheres to when being completed. I have proven leadership, management and training skills working as a lead hand for these past 7 years, as well as training several staff who would later become supervisors themselves. I have a problem solving mind and as a supervisor I would like to work towards creating new solutions to existing practices to help both save time and streamline individual areas as well as overall department practices to better save time and promote an easier work environment overall. If chosen for this role it would be my goal ontop of my duties to work with the management team on this and help share my knowledge of the areas and work on the worklists and with full time staff to see where changes can be made to possibly cut down on work lists and combine some areas where possible given some areas having more "free time" then others.
