USAID Health Financing and Governance Project (Global) (2013-2014)

• Collaborated with international and local partners to research, design, and implement sustainable health financing solutions, including domestic and private resource mobilization and leveraging national health insurance programs, ensuring long-term financial viability and enhanced resource allocation for health programs.

• Provided scientific and medical expertise to support script revisions for the mini-series The Hot Zone, ensuring accuracy in depicting infectious disease protocols in the context of outbreaks.
• Advised the production team on proper biosafety and biosecurity protocols, ensuring realistic and accurate portrayal of containment procedure, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and outbreak incident management.

• Led the implementation and management of a Government of Lesotho (GOL)-partnered HIV/AIDS outpatient clinic, provided integrated care and treatment to over 20,000 ART patients, with a focus on comprehensive care.
• Managed a team of 35+ direct reports, including national health workers and expatriate medical staff, oversaw triage, staff rotations, and performance management to ensure effective delivery of integrated healthcare services and operational excellence.
• Represented the project at regional and national coordination meetings, led regional integration of HIV, TB, and cholera containment systems, as well as supply chain management, diagnostic care, and local staff training under international guidelines.

• Delivered high quality care for infectious diseases, administered medications (oral, IV, and intramuscular), and performed accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
