  • Using computer system Advanced Industrial Management (AIM)created technical work documents to provide direction for the overhaul and upkeep of the following classes of ships: CGN (Nuclear Guided Missile Cruisers), CVN (Nuclear Aircraft Carriers), SSN (Nuclear Fast Attack Submarines) and SSBN (Nuclear Ballistic Missile Submarines). Accomplished this by researching drawings in ATIS and JEDMICS, implementing all technical requirements necessary based on drawings, technical manuals, NAVSEA Technical Manuals (NSTM), Submarine Maintenance Standards (SMS), applicable Departures from Specification (DFS) and Liaison Action Requests (LAR and OCLAR) to ensure all updated technical requirements were included in fiduciary estimates and technical direction.
  • Ordered all required material to support repairs of various systems using One Touch Support (OTS), HAYSTACK, DoD E-MALL, General Schedule Administration (GSA) Advantage, and WEB Fleet Logistics Information System (FLIS) as applicable. this includes verifying material availability using National Stock Number (NSN) or National Item Identification Number (NIIN).
  • 1999-2005, 2007-2009 Served as Technical Work Group leader for Code 260.4 and Code 260.9 during the successful performance, completion and certification of a multitude of SSBN and SSN overhauls,
  • 2005-2007 Served as Lead Instructor for Estimation and Planning, Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) and Material Requirements (MRQT) courses for Code 220. Also served as Instructor for SUBSAFE (Submarine Safety Requirements ) and Re-Entry Control (REC) courses.
  • Served as Technical Support and Lead Technical Support on various Project Engineering Teams (Troubledesk) to include CVN, SSBN and SSN overhauls.
  • System expertise attained in the following systems: Main Steam (MS), Auxiliary Steam (AS), High Pressure Drain (HPD), Catapult Steam (CAS) including Catapult Steam Drain (CAD), Electronics Auxiliary Freshwater (EAFW), Chilled Water (CW), Ventilation and Heating (VH), Plumbing and Sanitary (PL), Demineralized Water (DI), Tank Level Indication Systems (TLI). Experience in various other systems such as High Pressure Air (HPA), Low Pressure Air (LPA), Trim and Drain (TD), Refrigeration (RS), etc. This expertise includes removal, installation, repair and or replacement of all associated equipment to include piping, valves, pumps, etc.
