Community Involvement

Mentoring Junior Kids Organization (MJKO)

  • The Mentoring Junior Kids Organization is a non-profit charity based in Toronto, with the goal of promoting positive lifestyle choices for youth. The organization utilizes boxing, non-contact and competitively which allows students to develop physical and mental training.
  • I have been involved in this organization since 2012 and continue to provide volunteer services. In 2015 I undertook a leadership training course, receiving my CPR/First Aid certificate, as well as my level 1 coaching license in boxing.

Reebok Crossfit Firepower

  • Since 2011, I have been involved with Rebook Crossfit Firepower in Milton, Ontario as a student of boxing and community volunteer.
  • I took part in the 2013 and 2014 Christmas parade as a performer.
  • Boxing has been fundamental to my life for over a decade, where I continue to hone my skills, while cultivating very important relationships with classmates and instructors.

JSC & Dragons Tae Kwon Do

  • I have had the privilege of training in martial arts since the age of 5, obtaining my 2nd Degree Black Belt.
  • As a member of both JSC and the Dragons in Milton, Ontario, I have been involved with Christmas parades as a performer. Tae Kwon Do has been essential to harboring a sense of discipline, respect, and loyalty - three tenants I follow in may daily life.
