Started working as a salesperson and was quickly promoted to assistant manager.

I am responsible for finding leads, getting paystubs and other information from customers, explaining financing details, and helping them choose a vehicle.

I am also responsible for training the new hires and helping them to be successful.

This position requires attention to detail, emotional awareness, communication, organizational skills and problem solving.

I wanted to try sales and customer service.

I was responsible for helping customers understand the different products, sales, financing options available and to help them make decisions that were right for them.

I did well in this job and they were sad to see me go.

Took some time off after CN and then got a job as a delivery driver while I thought about my career options.

We were responsible for making sure the deliveries were accurate, delivering customers orders, as well as answering phones and taking orders.

• Conductors are responsible for building trains, setting out cars, fixing train cars when they break en route, communicating over the radio with rail traffic controllers as well as being familiar with all the rules and regulations required to work safely
• Had experience training new hires and being a Foreman on the job
• Also became a qualified Engineer responsible for running the locomotive
• This job required lots of decision making, constant learning of new skills and information, an enormous amount of personal responsibility for the safety of crews and equipment and the ability to adhere to rules and regulations
• Interpersonal relationships were also important at this job as one worked with a new person everyday
• It was necessary to be able to get along with everyone, communicate effectively, put personal differences aside and prioritize getting the job done safely and efficiently.
