I have been in the work force for 23 years. I have knowledge and experience from farming to construction back to farming and also tree work, which included logging and power line clearance and residential removals. I'm physically fit and go to the gym every day. I am currently employed and hold a class 3 license with all oilfield tickets and am looking to see what else is out there. My license is clean and I have 2 years of class 3 experience hauling dangerous goods (mainly emulsion and water sometimes condensate) I am currently working for Liknes enterprises out of veteran Alberta and have been for 2.5 years. There, I work in the shop and out in the tanker truck. I pull oil from various wells in the area and transport the fluid to the nearest battery. I also haul water to rig sites when needed and really whatever else the pump truck is needed for. I can drive manual and auto 13 speed and 18 speed and have air. I have a great relationship with my boss and he knows I'm looking for other work. My main reason for leaving is because I don't want to live in veteran anymore and would like to work a little more central to everything.

- I also worked with vets on a daily basis doing various things that arise from day to day with the health of the brood mares and foals
- I also halter broke many weaned foals and was able to administer medications orally and intermuscular needles to the mares and foals when needed

- I started out with feeding the feed lot with a tractor and feed wagon and bale pro and bedded pens
- Also checked for health issues in the livestock
- That took up half of my days during the winter the other half was spent in a one tone pick up and 43 foot stock trailer picking up cattle from various auctions
- Every Thursday we processed cattle (branded and de wormed and needled)
- As spring came we started moving our heifers to pasture 3 to 400 at a time all on horseback
- I was involved and rode in almost every drive that was done
- My main job over the summer was taking care of a mob grazing bunch and putting up fencing and repairing fences

- Most of my days were going from house to house around the city of Calgary trimming trees and bushes and removing larger trees that were unwanted or in danger of falling on the customer’s house
- I also gained some experience using a stump grinder and tree identification

- My main duties were felling trees that were in danger of growing into the power lines, chipping brush, cutting fire wood, roping trees, driving the bucket truck with chipper in tow

- Also took lots of first aid training and courses for working near power lines
