Water Post

• Preform water analysis testing twice per shift and make necessary chemical adjustments to ensure high quality boiler feedwater (pump strokes on phosphate, sulfite, amine, lime injection rates)
• Backwash anthracite filters and regenerate zeolite softeners
• High quality rounds documenting and correcting any anomalies such as pump issues, leaks, temperature deviations or level issues

Boiler Post

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining three packaged boilers and a HRSG through chemical adjustments, boiler blowdowns and field checks (steam drum sight glass, leaks, flame pattern)
• Routinely check steam turbines and pumps (Cooling water, oil levels/pressures/temperature, bearing temperatures/vibrations, suction and discharge pressure)
• Oversee air compression unit, monitoring compressors, receivers, filters and driers as well as knowledge on air shedding system.

Wastewater/BIOX post

• Preform wastewater testing twice per shift at various steps along site’s wastewater flow path
• Monitor Sour Water Stripper, Aero-Accelators, Induced Gas Flotation units, clean and oily water separators, Aeration Zone and Clarifiers to optimize treatment out of the plant
• Follow PPE matrix when preforming tasks to prevent immediate or long term health issues
