Worked on fences, decks, framing and interior finishing work on high end custom homes.

• Built and installed a variety of milled product displays as well as working on steel racking adjustments to accommodate millwork being installed

• Worked on the disconnect, move and reconnection of multiple liquid and powder mixing machines all of which had a variety of different motors, VFD's and load cell devices

• Primarily working on renovations and service upgrades; however, most of the renovation work includes fully removing and replacing all current electrical installations

• Worked in lead hand position on Commercial renovation and full electrical service upgrade retrofitting an old BMW service, sale and wash station into a Trail Appliances showroom and service centre
• Covered all scopes of Commercial electrical
• Was given the opportunity to mentor another young tradesman who was in the process of getting indentured

• Worked traditional commercial Electrical and learned a variety of skills: Conduit bending, circuit analysis, wire pulling, wiring of devices etc

• Mounted and wired solar panels and solar thermal heating systems on various commercial/residential sites

• We did new build construction as well as renovations on commercial spaces across Southern Ontario
• Was exposed to masonry work, framing, and interior finishing (mudding, sanding, drywall work, millwork) for large commercial contracts in a variety of different building spaces
• Company sent me for a construction prints and standards program over this time

• Worked on both the service and production side of the company
• This was my first real experience within the trades and is what sparked my initial interest in a trade related career
• I was exposed to working with a crew and learned the dynamic between foreman, supervisor, labourer, as well as a traditional 4-ply tar paper roofing application
• Can do metal and shingle install as well
