Jake Berg

I was born and raised on a mixed farming operation south of Melfort, SK. I began working with bees seasonally at the age of 13. After high school, I became a Journeyman Electrican but still worked seasonally as a beekeeper. In 2005, myself and my business partner, Stacey Zosel, bought a small apiary north of Melfort, SK. Over the last 19 years, SJBeeZ has grown from a small beekeeping business into a successful commercial operation. I have served many different positions within the SBDC and currently hold the Chair on the Canadian Honey Council.
