CLBC) is a provincial Crown corporation that provides funding, supports and services for over 23,000 individuals with developmental disabilities across the province. Board Members are appointed by the Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction for up to a three-year term. CLBC's Board is responsible for the governance, as well as the financial, strategic and administrative oversight of the agency. Board Members also engage with CLBC's stakeholders (i.e individuals with disabilities, families and non-profit service providers.) During my time on the Board, I also sat on the Quality & Service and Governance & HR Committees, as well as serving as one of the Board Liaisons to CLBC's Provincial Advisory Committee.

In collaboration with the Association and the City's Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services department, I created Burnaby's first adapted, inclusive theatre class for adults of all diverse-abilities. I taught these classes at a few different locations throughout the city during the five years I was running it. My youngest student was eighteen years old and my eldest was a woman in her mid-seventies. Each class was six weeks long, with a focus on building a theatre ensemble through team building exercises, group improvisation, voice and movement work, theatre games, as well as buffoonery.

I worked on the Arts Club's production of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" (the story of which is told through the eyes of the main character who has autism.) My main role was to work with the play's director, designers and actors to bring an authentic portrayal of autism to the stage
I also worked with the Arts Club's Education & Outreach Department to develop the theatre company's first-ever Relaxed Performances for this production.
