Worked as Graduate Teaching assistant (GTA) to Dr. Todd Nelson (PT,DPT, MBA) while pursuing Post- Professional Doctorate at Loma Linda University . My role as a GTA was to assist the professor with instructional responsibilities. I assisted in teaching Neuro Physical Therapy to entry level DPT students. We covered all the major neurological diagnosis in PT. I assisted in the hands-on lab for NDT, PNF, SCI rehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation. I also played a vital role in holding office hours; grading exams; and assisting the professor with a large lecture class by teaching students in lecture, hands- on laboratory, and discussion sessions. I feel this teaching experience has made me a better Physical therapist because teaching our patients is a important part of therapy.
