- Responsible for management of crew members' monthly schedule, once it has been released by the crew planners
- Assign crews, following the assignment of flights, that have become vacant or have been scheduled after the release of the monthly schedule
- Ensure all crew assignments follow CARs and Company Operations Manual rest and duty limitations
- Prepare various reports, including daily, monthly and annual operational data
- Monitor the movement of flights and coordinate crewing as required to minimize delays and ensure operational efficiency
- Provide training and mentoring to new crew schedulers and flight followers
- Monitor, forecast and control aircraft payloads in coordination with commercial operations
- Provide updated flight information for flight dispatch and commercial operations through airline management software
- Answer radio calls from all company flights on our internal frequency
- Audit all operational flight plans and journey log sheet information
