During my brief time at Shoe City, I had to leave due to a family emergency. However, the time I spent there allowed me to receive some new skills that have been valuable to me. For instance, I improved my critical thinking abilities and learned how to communicate effectively with both customers and employers. My job description included various tasks to keep the store running smoothly, such as welcoming customers, tagging prices on products, cleaning the store, restocking shoes, and answering customers' questions
and helping customers was a top priority at Shoe City. As I engaged with them more, I became increasingly confident in my communication skills and was better equipped to solve problems without getting overwhelmed.
