Customer Service Representative
1. Answering and routing phone calls on a multi-line system, receiving and re-directing as necessary all incoming calls
2. Scheduling appointments (examinations, vaccinations, treatments, surgeries).
3. Receiving incoming clients and preparing necessary registration materials and forms with medical records (i.e. preparing new files, updating existing ones, and entering new clients into the computer system).
4. Assisting clients with drug refills and non-prescription supplies such as flea control products, and prescription diets. Making every effort to market these products and other hospital services to our clients — as appropriate.
5. Receiving payment for services and insure that computer invoices are maintained accurately and kept current.
6. Assisting as needed elsewhere in the hospital when directed by the Reception Supervisor, Hospital Manager or Director.
7. Performing general clerical and office duties including cleaning, organizing, and tidying.
