As a MTM pharmacist, I focused on the delivery of patient-centered care through communication, collaboration, and documentation to collect, assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate for the benefit of each patient. As a clinical pharmacist, I was able to speak one-on-one with patients, helping them to understand their medication regimen, manage potential adverse effects, provide counsel on side effects, ensure the patient is planning for refills, and check-in periodically to ensure compliance.
Over 10 years at Rite Aid with experience in the management of several pharmacies, I was able to obtain a reputation of being a great pharmacist with qualities such as: strong clinical knowledge, great consultation skills and highly successful performance of MTM cases, an excellent pharmacy manager who knows how to expand the pharmacies, make perfect workflow system, and knows how to lead a team by encouraging, challenging, and motivating. Furthermore, I am recognized as an influential mentor for new pharmacy managers, pharmacists, graduate interns, and pharmacy students. I do not just teach clinical knowledge and skills but rather show how to be a good leader and role model in the pharmacy as well as in the community. I believe that there are lots of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy interns, and even store managers and workers who can give testimony about my integrity, honesty, being trustworthy and my leadership.
