I've built and collaborated on dozens of engineering projects, specializing in computer vision and UAVs(unmanned aerial vehicles). To date I've co-authored 8 academic publications, majority of which having been published with IEEE. I'm currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Mechatronics Engineering and am expected to complete such in 2025.
In two summer terms at MannLab in 2021 and 2022, interned at the research lab of Dr Steve Mann. At MannLab I collaborated with Dr Mann and others on various projects such as a drone to autonomously inspect overhead electric powerlines, an electric paddleboard that proportions propulsion to the force applied by the user, and an assistive wagon that regardless of payload, never makes the user feel as though they're pulling more than a few pounds. I was primarily responsible for building and programming the control systems for said vehicles and gained much experience in Python, C++ and arduino.
At AirMatrix, I had a variety of responsibilities including building the simulation environments to test UAV code before deployment, assisting in GPS logging for quadcopters and assembling the prototype drones on which the early versions of the software were tested. I gained much experience in working with Mavlink commuication protocol, Pixhawk flight controllers and ROS(robot operating system).
