Dermatology Department:

• Gathering comprehensive information about the animal's skin issues, including onset, progression, symptoms, and potential allergens
• Performing procedures to analyze for parasites, infections, or abnormalities
• Examining collected samples under a microscope and recording findings
• Documenting patient information in ezyvet, including clinical findings, treatments, and client communication

Emergency:

• Monitoring vital signs, giving medications and providing treatments to both in-and-out patients
• Monitoring anesthesia for after hours surgeries
• Maintaining records via Ezyvet and Vetradar
• Triaging scheduled or emergency patients based on presenting status

• Assist DVM with appointments by restraining, obtaining intake history, and in-house diagnostics (serology, urinalysis, cytology, parasitology)
• Administered prescribed, injectable, controlled substances, tranquilizers, sedatives, and inhalants to animals in clinic
• Monitored patients under anesthesia with various ASA classifications
• Preformed numerous dentals under anesthesia on small animals
• Cleaning surgical equipment, pack wrapping, and autoclaving surgical packs
• General janitorial duties; maintaining AAHA standards
• Answer phones, greeting customers, and maintaining patient records on AVImark

• Greeting each customer and answering phones in between transactions
• Cashing out customers whilst maintaining a welcoming and positive attitude
• Opening/closing duties; counting tills and deposits
• Regular inventory counts/fixing discrepancies
• Assisting customers with any advice on home improvement tools and/or directing to the proper employee or outside salesman

• Opening/closing managerial duties such as counting tills, deposits, and daily paperwork
• Maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Suggestive selling tailored to what pet parents are looking for
• Running the stores social media platforms
• Daily nail trims for cats, dogs, and small animals

• Greeting customers with a smile and a friendly introduction
• Creating an enjoyable dining experience by promptly cleaning, clearing and setting tables
• Maintaining reservations and taking in walk-ins while keeping wait times at a minimum
• Assisting servers and bar/kitchen staff while front-of-house duties are maintained

• Assist doctors and technicians with the administration of medications/restraint of animals
• Observe animals appearance and activity for any obvious signs of illness, disease and discontent
• Perform needed cleaning and maintenance of all equipment and tools used on the job
• Unpacking, labeling and stocking of clinic supplies

• Assisting with training new employees, visual merchandising and stock
• Successfully and consistently maintaining personal sales goals
• Helping customers find items of clothing and assembling outfits while courteously handling all customer concerns, using problem-solving/conflict resolution

• Grooming up to 5 dogs a day while assisting other associates in need with their animals
• Consistently upselling new products, and/or add-ons
• Keeping the salon tidy, and well represented
• Answering phone calls, booking appointments and dealing with walk-in clients
