Assisted residents with all activities of daily living. Supports residents with personal hygiene care, such as assisting them to the washroom using mechanical lift and/or sit-to-stand machine, bathing in the shower and/or in the bed, getting dressed in the bed and/or in the washroom, assistance with meals and general hygiene. Also, provide companionship and activities for retirement residents.

Placement

Along with the preceptor, assisted residents with their activities daily living in a safe and caring manner. Support and encourage the residents to build self-esteem, promote independence and protect their rights to autonomy and dignity.

Laundry, Ironing, Vacuuming, Cleaning. Cooking including dinner preparation for the whole family, 5 nights/week + any extra cooking. Making and preparing school/work lunches and snacks. Preparing other food on an as needed basis. Engaging with the children when they are home. Walking to pick up/drop off children from school when there is no carpool or on an as needed basis. Walking children to and from activities when needed. Running errands. General housekeeping. Maintaining the house in a clean and orderly state.

Daily supervision of three young children ages 10 years old, 8 years old, and 4 years old. Prepares craft materials and assist children to use them. Instructs children on personal hygiene and social development. Tends to emotional well being of the children. Takes children to and from their school and parks. Helps children with their homework and when the employer are not around, I takes the full responsibility of the household. Always maintains a safe and healthy environment for the children. Also, makes sure always serving nutritious meals to the children. When the kids are in school, I performs light housekeeping.
