Jacqueline Winters

Inuit Research Coordinator
Rigolet,NL

Summary

I consider myself to be a strong, resiliant mother of 3. I grew up in Makkovik, however I have resided in Rigolet, Nunatsiavut for the passed 6 years. Growing up I always knew I'd pursue a career in research, due to my passion for the land and animals in my region. I have a fire in me to do as much as I can for my community and I love being involved in community engagement and socials. I am very good at organizing and coordinating events and bringing whatever idea I have to life. I am currently working on publishing an exciting piece for my community. I love to sew, travel, and being out on the land is one of my favorite places to be, because it is where I feel most connected to my culture.
