I have worked for Teck Resources for 25 years and during that time I have worked as a shift supervisor, operations manager, group leader, warehouse manager, purchaser, shipper/receiver, first aid lead and many other roles. I am a versatile and well rounded employee who can take on a variety of roles. During my time with Teck I have worked as a consultant in Brazil to commission a new plant, I organized moving our entire inventory to a new facility which I also helped to set up once we had moved in, I ran the first aid program, organized shifts, put together safety programs, ran the purchasing department and dealt with many different vendors, taught mobile equipment courses for forklifts, scissor lift and power jacks, organized waste management, worked as the warehouse manager, ran circuits including doing my own maintenance on pumps, filter presses and other pieces of machinery, I frequently had to transport dangerous goods including across borders such as concentrates that were high in Uranium.
