Working with the Hyatt for the past few months has been great. I’ve got to work closely with the Food and Beverage team to create great cocktails and an excellent wine menu featuring Okanagan Wines.
Working at the Iconic Hotel Eldorado gave me a chance to learn about fine dining and take my cocktail and wine knowledge to the next level. I got to work closely with the management team to develop cocktails for our seasonal menus, and learn an extensive amount about Whiskey, Scotch and Bourbon, as well as leaning more about wine from all over the world.
Frequency Wines was a Winerybin East Kelowna, and we used Soundwaves to remove the sediment out of our barrels of wine.
We had a recording studio that would invite Artists from the Okanagana and beyond to record their songs and we would play that music to our barrels. We also had speakers that we would strap on to our barrels like head phones and play specific frequencies to aid in the wine’s clarification process.
As assistant manager I got to learn how to make wine from our grapes and curate the process of turning it into wine.
I also staffed and schedule employees for working in the recording studio, as well as our wine tasting hosts to provide our guests a very unique experience
I worked with Moxies at a verity of locations of the course of 11 years. I started as support staff and eventually got offered a Supervisor position.
I trained staff, planned schedules, oversaw inventory and customer satisfaction. Moxies was a great foundation of training and experience that helped my career grow
