Specific Project Experience

Monthly Bulk Tranche Automation and Migration

• Designed and implemented a phased plan to migrate the ingestion of monthly mortgage insurance tranches for 14 lenders from SAS codes to Alteryx workflows.
• Increased efficiencies and automated the process, resulting in a ~300% reduction in time spent processing.

Outstanding Balance Reporting Automation

• Currently working with IT and Finance departments to design a phased plan to automate the monthly lender outstanding balance reports process using Alteryx and Python.
• Strategize to improving data accuracy, create exception reporting, and reduce time spent processing by ~100%.

Applications Data Dashboard

• Analyzed applications data monthly and compared to market data to identify key areas of risk, measure portfolio quality and performance and provide insight on areas of improvement.
• Built Alteryx workflow to organize, clean and merge the data and imported into Power BI, reducing reporting time

Power User Group Initiative

• Created the Sagen Data Analytics Power User Group and held bi-weekly sessions in efforts of promoting collaboration and improving software skills (i.e. Power BI, Alteryx, SQL) across all analysts in the company.

• Maintained and developed regular economic scenario forecasting exercises that are used in the business' Smarter MI 1.0 underwriting model to determine if an application received is auto-decisioned
• Completed extensive economic research on the housing market, early recession indicators, and variable rate mortgages and translated findings in a comprehensible manner to senior leadership team
