Jack Birnie

I am a quick learner when it comes to skiing and other physical activities. I"m committed to the ski hill as I've spent 12 years of my life on the Hidden Valley hills, and I'm very passionate about skiing. I love to share and teach others how to ski so hopefully they can develop a joy for the sport. I can be depended upon to get to work on time, and put in 100% effort every day. I"m also responsible and use to looking after younger children. I"m a very outdoorsy person and am physically fit which is helpful on cold winter days when you have to be positive and encourage kids who are cold and tired.

I am currently working on my Bronze Medallion and if I'm successful I will have it by December 1, 2023.

My volunteer experience includes:

1. Coaching basketball for kids ages 6-10. Involved patience and enthusiasm while leading drills and refereeing games.

2. Assisted coaching soccer for kids ages 8-10. Involved leading warm-ups and organizing substitutions so everyone gets a fair playing time.

I would be eager and comfortable teaching any age of children or adults.
