*Regional COVID-19 Response Program: Emergent needs support, Health system strengthening, SRHR, Mental health, and Livelihood support

• Provided technical oversight in program implementation and reporting, including timely delivery of sub-grant activities provision, and consulting contracts in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Mozambique.
• Coordinated all aspects of program, including design, contracting, human resource and financial management, quality assurance of program aspects, and closing out.
• Supported in development and adaptation of program documents such as reporting templates, standard operating procedure manuals, consultants' terms of reference, and communication and visibility plans.
• Ensured program implementation on time , on budget, and in compliance with the parameters of the donor (the European Union), AKF policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Ensured performance and achievement of results using a results-based management approach and reporting of program outcomes and results.

*Health System Strengthening: Maternal Newborn Child Health Project (AQCESS Project Kenya)

• Quality assurance and timely implementation of project activities as per plan ensured that the project was compliant with donor policies and regulations.
• In collaboration with the Project Implementation team , ensured the development and submission of a detailed project implementation plan (PIP) and annual work plans that adhered to Aga Khan Foundation Canada's (AKFC) and Global Affairs Canada's (GAC) requirements.
• Supported the development of high-quality progress reports, including the achievements of the project implementation and work plan and the fulfillment of the performance monitoring framework.
• Led monthly and quarterly Project Oversight Committee meetings to support donor and beneficiary relationships. In collaboration with the regional MERL Unit, supported the development and implementation of the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research agenda and the documentation and dissemination of the project results and achievements.
• Identified day-to-day implementation challenges and recommended solutions in close collaboration with the implementing partners and key stakeholders, such as county governments.

*Postpartum family planning program.

• Supported the organization on a Reproductive Health program to assess the drivers and barriers to uptake of postpartum family planning in rural Kenya.
• In collaboration with research assistants, provided leadership and oversight over qualitative aspect of the project.
• Supported efforts to ensure smooth running of qualitative data collection through interviews, Focus Group Discussions, and Key Informant Interviews.

• Engaged students with insightful and compelling classroom discussion of topics relevant to coursework to boost student learning and retention.

Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).

• Conceptualized and supported work to inform policies that move from mitigation to prevention strategies to make wastewater available and useful for irrigation purposes especially in Low and Middle in Countries.
• Co‐authored a policy brief that will inform policy makers especially in developing regions on the need to expend more resources on wastewater treatment to make wastewater available and useful for irrigation.

* Health System Strengthening - Maternal Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Research Project

• In collaboration with the research team, I provided technical leadership in a multi-hospital-based research project within Nairobi County to assess the existing gaps in the provision of Maternal Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) care and how the gaps could be addressed through task‐shifting.
• Participated in designing, planning, implementation and evaluation of ongoing projects work through the integration of health workers from different hospitals within the county.
• Worked closely with the research team to strengthen relationships between healthcare providers across public and private facilities; these efforts provided a knowledge‐sharing platform to discuss diverse ways of addressing the existing gaps in MNCH.

• Led efforts to ensure the smooth running of qualitative and quantitative data collection through interviews, Focus Group Discussions, and Key Informant Interviews.
• Traveled extensively to field sites, monitored and documented progress of research activities by maintaining records of study activities and providing periodic feedback to the Principal Investigator (PI) and Nairobi County representatives; efforts led to the attainment of study goals and completion of the research study on set timelines.

*Reproductive Health for Most at Risk Populations

• Supported a Pathfinder initiative that aimed to improve Reproductive Health and Family Planning within the youth and Most At‐Risk Populations (MARPs) particularly Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) and Men having sex with Men (MSM) in Low and Middle‐Income Countries.
• Responded to patients' medical needs relating to HIV Testing and Counselling,
• Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT), Reproductive Health, Family Planning, Sexually Transmitted Infections, and cervical cancer screening through Pap smear tests; efforts led to increased coverage of reproductive health services among the MARPs within the refugee communities in Eastleigh‐Nairobi.
• Adapted existing standardized strategies for implementation of Reproductive Health, Family Planning, PMTCT and HIV in the region.
• Provided regular support to Community Health Workers (CHW) within the community on how to conduct patients' home visits to ensure adherence to ARTs.

Performed all duties required for a registered nurse, including

Community Needs Assessment, Health Education, Disease Prevention and Control, Maternal and Child Health, Chronic Disease Management, Community Outreach, Immunization Clinics, and Health Promotion Programs.
