Completed a 10 week cultural and language exchange to Germany, where I attended German school and lived with a German family. During this trip I improved my understanding and use of the German language, and was able to communicate and build relationships with people despite our language barriers. As part of this exchange, I also hosted a German student in my home. During this time, I planned many excursions for us to do and was able to provide an exciting and fun introduction to Canada for her.
