Over the course of different jobs, education, and the externship that I completed, I have learned that the most important part of a job is to remain patient, professional, positive, and treat every patient or customer with respect and kindness. I have a strong work ethic and always show up on time with a positive attitude, ready for anything the day may bring.
At my most recent job, I learned so much about how to work with the public. I learned how to problem solve and think fast. It taught me so much about being confident in my decision making. I became more outgoing and confident as a person. I learned how to handle tough situations where I had to deescalate and turn a customer's negative experience into a positive one.
I completed a 200-hour externship program as a Medical Assistant at HT Family Physicians. I took patient vitals, performed EKGs, logged patient information into EMRs, tested urine samples, and cleaned and stocked patient rooms and waiting areas daily. I learned how to interact with so many different patients, treating them with the upmost respect and professionalism.
I worked in a fast-paced food service environment, ensuring excellent customer service and time efficiency.
