Summary

I define myself as a highly creative artistic individual, with a rich, personal and unique experience in the Visual Arts area, my diverse education gave me a base from which I gather skills and inspiration for artistic self expression. I've acquired through the years knowledge and experience in drawing, painting ( realistic and abstract) in different mixed media techniques, I am familiar with some ceramics hand building techniques and also sculpture with diverse materials like wood, clay, metal and textiles.

The last 16 years I have being a stay home parent raising two daughters, and it's from my experience as an artist mother that my innate passion for teaching art evolved from immersing two children to the visual arts at home to volunteer at their school in different art related activities to my present day experience as a volunteer art teacher to a group of Senior Group of Women.

I wish with this letter to convey to you and your organization my desire to now continue my teachings, offering my ideas, my experience in working with children and adults in the are of visual arts.

Im excited to further continuing a conversation about what skills and experience you are looking for and how and what I can bring that to the position you are offering.

I would like to last remark here that I speak 3 languages, fluent in English, French and Spanish, I'm highly motivated, I enjoy connecting with people, working with others in a team environment, I am able to confidently say that I possess an inner drive to teach, to guide people to explore the act of making art as a form of self expression, selfcare, a tool to access mindfulness and creativity., all of that in the context of also making and participating in the creation and nourishment of community.

Yoga, Pilates, Gardening

Gardening has allowed me to find inspiration in the natural world specially botanicals as an inspiration in the development of my art lessons. I've encouraged my students to observe and experience the natural landscape as a meditative, source of ideas, and inspiration for their art work.
