Diagnose electrical and CAN communication faults, including issues with ECM, TCM, and BCM modules.

Work on chassis systems, such as air brakes, suspensions, steering, and hydraulic components.

Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and scheduled services on Roll-off truck’s, garbage truck’s and loaders to ensure fleet reliability and reduce downtime.

Work on hydraulic systems, including repairing hydraulic pumps, cylinders, hoses, and compactors on waste collection vehicles.

Repair and replace PTO (Power Take-Off) systems, hydraulic arms, and lifting mechanisms used in waste management trucks.

Perform road tests and post-repair inspections to verify the performance of the vehicles.

Maintained detailed service records and completed work orders in fleet management software.

Assisted senior mechanics in diagnosing and repairing highway trucks (Kenworth, Peterbilt, Freightliner, Volvo, etc.).

Performed basic maintenance such as oil changes, coolant flushes, and filter replacements on Class 8 trucks.

Helped troubleshoot Cummins and Detroit Diesel engines using diagnostic software like JPRO, Cummins Insite.

Maintained a clean and organized workspace in the shop and followed all safety procedures

Washed and detailed highway trucks to maintain cleanliness and prevent corrosion.
