• Since 2013, the year I have joined Education dept of Chandigarh, I have been an active and enthusiastic teacher. I have always worked for my professional growth by being a continuous learner. I have received several trainings by various State, National and International level organizations like SCERT, RIE , NCERT ,CBSE, British Council, ACER and Alpha Plus (London).I have not restricted myself to just receiving of these valuable trainings rather, I have been an important medium of imparting the same from time to time to other teachers of my department as well.
• In order to promote digital education, I have been working as one of the contributor for developing several e contents in English language for classes 1st to 10th. It is a National Level Project titled PM E Vidya. This project was launched by hon'ble Prime Minister of India in collaboration with Ministry of Education , NCERT and Rotary Club of India. There are around 12 channels running these educational programmes nationwide to bring education to the doorsteps of the children belonging to the underprivileged section of the society. Apart from my professional roles and responsibilities, I had also worked with a local NGO named Humari Kaksha, wherein I taught children of underprivileged section, during the evening hours twice a week. I have been also delivering free online lectures and live sessions for needy students of govt. and privates schools on social media related to the subject enrichment, under the community service programme of a city based self help group SOCIAL SUBSTANCE and OPEN EYES FOUNDATION.
