Isabelle Bernhard

Due to my position within Canyon View Elementary School, I was able to gain a lot of understanding a resolution skills. I learned to help both children and adults with their needs, allowing me to understand how to best resolve issues respectfully and swiftly.

• Volunteer, Beach Clean Up, San Diego, CA, Walked along beach picking up trash and litter, Searched for microplastics along waterline, Searched through seaweed for trash
• Volunteer, Recreational Soccer Coach, San Diego, CA, Helped teach young kids how to play soccer, Organized team building, Developed both fine and gross motor skills through soccer, Created fun and enjoyable games for the team to learn and enjoy athletics

• Participated at high-level, travel, youth soccer for 11 years, along with high school varsity for four years (2 of those as a captain), and now playing club soccer for UC Irvine.
• Through a child psychology course in high school, I learned how to communicate with people of all ages, from elementary school children, middle school children, high school students, adults, and even special needs individuals, allowing me to understand how to communicate and value individuals of all different backgrounds.
