Summary

I am a 4th year Human Ecology student at the University of Alberta with extensive professional and academic experience in marketing, sustainability and environmentalism, fashion, and textile sciences, looking for a dynamic and challenging position that utilizes these skills. Three describing words would be passionate, dependable, and driven. I would also describe myself as a candidate with a talent for devising creative strategies and a demonstrated knowledge of copywriting, project management, and design.

While eager to learn new skills, I have also acquired a unique and diverse skillset through extensive work experience in many different fields over the last 10+ years. These positions allowed for the development of strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

I have a lifelong passion for sustainability, fashion, textiles, and design, as well as botany and the environment. This is also why I transferred to the University of Alberta's BSc in Human Ecology, majoring in Clothing, Textiles, and Material Culture with a Sustainability Certificate. I believe in my success at any organization as a hardworking, detail-oriented, people-person and team player by nature and I hope I receive the chance to show you this. I sincerely thank you for your consideration.
