Isabella Campoy

When the previous youth minister of our parish resigned, me and a few other teen and adult leaders took over the youth ministry. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month and we plan out and schedule our monthly youth meetings. We create fun and interesting ways to keep kids interested and involved in their church community. We also began an annual winter formal dance that is on its fourth year. The dance is planned and put on done by a small group of teens and an adult helper. Being a youth leader takes patience and dedication which I am skilled at. Thankfully we obtained a new youth minister in February of 2026, who also happens to be our choir director, and I have remained a part of the youth ministry team.

While house sitting/pet sitting I always keep a neat and clean space in the clients house to make leaving a job as easy as possible. I comply with requests of the owners and take good care of any animals they have. I collect mail and take out trash on the set times its meant to be done. I am responsible and timely so I never leave anything undone. Once I am done with a job, I leave the house just as I found it. I do all dishes, laundry, clean up, and do whatever needs to be done for the animals before I leave.

I have significant experience with babysitting and caring for multiple kids of various ages for long periods of time. I prepare meals with caution to dietary restrictions. While playing I have the kids maintain a calm and friendly environment to avoid any fights between them from occurring. After playing or eating we do routine cleanups to encourage cleanliness and maintain a safe and neat space. I encourage independence and ask the kids to try finding solutions before they come to me. I built loving and trusting relationships with all children I care for so they have someone they trust to come to and be there for them when needed. I have a great passion for childcare and encouraging new generations.

I began participating in the regular adult choir at my home church when I was about 12. I started to learn how to read music and participate in a musical setting. I began to cantor and take on bigger roles encouraged by my choir director and became the primary cantor in our parish. In the fall of 2025 I also brought my orchestral violin skills to the choir and on occasion now I switch between singing and playing my instrument. I arrive an hour before mass and participate in rehearsal with the rest of the choir every Sunday morning.

During my time as an academic religion coach I had to be very punctual and organized. I had to be on top of sending out email with any info I needed the parents to know or with homework assignments for the kids to complete. I had to make mini lesson plans so we could stay on task at meetings and get what we needed done before competition day.
