Given my years of experience, my positive and unifying leadership, my good relationship with nurses and my ability to manage conflicts, I have been asked many times to take over the leadership of the emergency department, a request that I did not accept for family reasons and because I have since been thinking of reorienting my career outside of the emergency department.
