•Collect and assemble pallets of grocery products and other household items operating an electric pallet jack.
•Wrapping the assembled pallets, and preparing them for shipment.
•Pick and organize orders of groceries.
•Loaded and unloaded materials onto and off of trucks for fast shipment.
•Maintained clean, orderly work environment free of hazards.
•Visually inspect the pole shaft for areas of rust, corrosion, and any dents or signs that the structural integrity has been compromised.
•Visually inspect brackets, arms, luminaries, and welds to ensure there is no metal fatigue.
•Ensure covers are securely attached
•Ensure all anchor bolt nuts are in place and securely tightened
•Identify poles that are dangerous and should be replaced
•Identify poles which are in the early stages of deterioration so that corrective actions can be taken
•Boring three to four holes around the circumference of the pole where decay is suspected
•Using a shell thickness indicator to determine the thickness of a non decayed wood when poles are drilled.
•Soil excavation of about two feet around the pole to enable ground line and bandage treatment.
•Liquid preservatives or fumigants may be used to control decay and insect attack within the central core of poles
Knowledge of power tools and equipment: Jack Hammers, Cement mixers, hand and cement grinders
Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read tape measurement
Experience doing construction work in either a commercial or residential setting
Ability to lift construction materials over 65 lbs in poor weather conditions, utilizing job training to maintain safety
Knowledge of OSHA construction site safety regulations
