Reporting to the Coordinator of Shelter Services, the Shelter Worker (SW) I work within a low barrier environment and provide assistance, support and advocacy to individuals accessing the service when identified by the individual based on their needs.

As a Shelter Resource Worker, i provides direct support to individuals accessing shelter services, including intake, assessment, crisis intervention, and connecting them with relevant community resources. Also work within a team, often in a 24/7 environment, to create a safe and supportive space for vulnerable populations, including those experiencing homelessness, addiction, or mental health challenges.
