I aim to leverage my advanced knowledge and extensive experience in electrical engineering to foster growth and excellence at BC Hydro while refining my technical and professional skills to serve the people of British Columbia better.

• Hands-on experience in power distribution systems, transmission lines, SCADA systems, network operation & maintenance, project planning and distribution planning, implementation of development projects, etc.
• Research experience in power system Transient Stability analysis during a three-phase fault.
• Advanced knowledge and skill in computer simulation of transmission and distribution lines using the Lumped parameter RLC 𝛑-circuit and constant parameter (cp-line) model.
• Teaching experience in advanced undergraduate courses on electrical transmission and distribution systems.
• Advanced modeling and simulation skills of electric machines and power systems in MATLAB, PSCAD, and MicroTran (EMTP).
• Experienced using MATLAB, Python, and PSCAD for load flow and harmonics studies.
• Comprehensive understanding of overhead, underground, and submarine transmission and distribution lines and their role in power system stability, reliability, and power supply quality (PSQ).
• Research experience in short-time electrical load forecasting using deep learning (AI).
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its impact on traditional power system operation and maintenance.
• Familiar with Powertech Labs proprietary power system analysis software package DSATools.
• Developed computer program for UBC’s proprietary EMTP software MicroTran.
• Familiar with household electrical products (circuit breaker, cable, etc.) and BC Electrical Code through the experience of working as a sales representative at Home Depot Canada.
• Completed advanced courses on Engineering economics, Engineering management, Economic Analysis of Engineering projects.
• Intermediate knowledge of Accounting, Economics, and Sociology from undergraduate courses.
