Overall duty as a Mechanical QC Inspector:

  • Installation inspection of Sanitary, Storm, irrigation, and Potable lines.
  • Installation of piping in manholes and lift stations.
  • Material receiving inspection as per Saudi Aramco Standards.
  • Quality controlling & performing the hydro testing on the pressure lines.
  • Coordination with the client quality inspector to witness the hold point.
  • Well familiar with the Hydro testing & Gravity test for HDPE, CPVC pipes and joints and their documentation.
  • Awareness of QMIS for raising RFIs in the system and their reply through QMIS.
  • Installation of Sewer and drainage system for infra-structure piping network.
  • Installation and inspection of water supply system both drinking and raw and hydro test packages.
  • Installation and inspection of all types of valves, bolt tightness & torque.
  • Well familiar with PMCC and EIL items and their follow-up with construction and SAPID.
  • Inspection for material, receiving HVAC material/equipment as per procurement order (PO) review mill test certificate (MTC), RTA/MTS, in accordance with applicable codes & standards like, ASHRAE, SMACNA, UL etc.
  • Sewer Pipe and Fittings for Gravity Flow inspection.
  • Inspection of potable water from the discharge ends of isolation.
  • Checking piping installation as per IFC drawing and according to the standards.
  • Responsible for implementing various field testing of piping.
  • Arrange the calibration certificate of all gauges used on pressure tests such as hydro test.
  • Coordinate with client Inspector in order to do inspection as per client requirement.
  • To execute the works according to the latest approved revision drawings and instructions of authorized authorities.
  • Conduct quality toolbox meetings on mechanical-related work procedures.
  • Daily Report and all Quality Control Activities.
  • Installation of UPVC, CPVC, FPR and HDPE pipes for sanitary water, storm water, potable water, and irrigation piping systems.
  • Inspect hydro test and gravity tests at different hold points and coordinating with the client.
  • To check the proper installation of the above-mentioned installations.
  • Prepare and submit to the client the daily productivity report of inspection.
  • Attending weekly/monthly meetings.

Duties and Responsibilities as Building Supervisor

  • Inspection for material, receiving HVAC material/equipment as per procurement order (PO) review mill test certificate (MTC), RTA/MTS, in accordance with applicable codes & standards like, ASHRAE, SMACNA, UL etc.
  • Installation inspection for duct hangers and supports and metal duct as per I.F.C. drawings.
  • Perform inspection for installation of duct work. As per ITP, IFC Drawings and inspection checklist (ICL) by complying with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and SMACNA ASHRAE & NFPA requirements.
  • Installation inspection of duct insulation and Flexible duct as per Saudi Aramco standards.
  • Performing Refrigerant Line’s Pressure/Leakage test between AHU and ACCU.
  • Witnessing verifying and record the quality work being performed by the construction employee is satisfactory and with compliance with approved documents provided by the client and raise request for inspection (RFI)/Work inspection Request (WIR) for project inspection department (PID) in order to approve the activity being inspected.
  • Performing vacuum test for refrigerant pipes between AHU and ACCU.
  • Ensuring satisfactory identification of material, proper protection of ducts, Terminal equipment, Supports, pipes and fittings, proper Size and schedule/Thickness of pipes.
  • Reading and understanding of I.F.C. drawings, ensuring that work is going on accordingly.
  • Checked and understand the HVAC equipment schedule plan, to know the equipment specification and identification of location where to install.
  • Conduct Testing, Adjusting and Balancing of HVAC system as per applicable Standards.
  • Follow up of PMCC list/Punch list, Items in order to finalize the facility work.
  • Issuance of Internal Non-Conformance report (INCR) to construction department for the violation of IFC, Codes and Standards during work.
  • Close off all NCR where an associated corrective action is carried out fully confirmed with the client.
  • Rejected company-made-procedural materials that did not meet Standards.
  • Making and updating of Final Record Book for inspection.
