· Created, led & personally trained my sales force in sales best practices, product iteration with emphasis on: [technical data sheets (TDS) & MSDS in order to excel in understanding/grasping properties & applications of each product we formulate, produce & sell in comparison to the ones of other competitors locally & internationally], research and analysis, customer service, branding and international considerations.
· Uncovered new clients & business opportunities continuously by conducting market research on types of products used in the textile dyeing/finishing houses & in Industrial apparel Laundries & beyond through qualitative studies & quantitative surveys in order to direct my sales force to target & pursue each one of them in order to amplify our annual sales; as a result, we managed successfully to increase our yearly sales figures by an average of 1.5 million US$.
· Succeeded in selling an overall yearly sales figure of 3,5 million US$ throughout 20 years, reaching average sales figures of $5.5 million US$ between years 2012-2016, with profits topping 44%.
· Competed against the best reputable billion dollars industries in the textile fields in the world such as Clariant, Dye Star, Huntsman, Ciba, CHT, Bohme Filatex, High Point Chemicals, Rudolph, Everlight, just to name a few, and yet came on the top and made a huge difference by dominating almost entirely the Dominican Market & a big saws of Honduras’ for instance., as well as Nicaragua’s & Guatemala’s respective market due to my extensive technical background and my intellectual ability to custom formulate highly performing versatile cost-efficient specialty chemical products with functionality & properties that exceeded the ones of my competitors to hit specific application & criteria and by providing unequal technical support & service.
· Established, in the years 2002-2006; known as the golden era, dominion over the Dominican market of new Industrial Apparel Laundry machineries, such as (450-1500 lbs. capacity) front loaders programmable Washers/extractors, Dryers, top loaders Extractors as well as Sandblasters & Laser machines used/needed in the apparel/garment industrial laundries, as I single-handedly directed & managed all sales aspects with all potential promising customers being the exclusive agent for Alton Machinery (Montreal, Canada), for laser Textile Technologies & Canablast (Montreal, Canada as well), topping sales figures of 2.9 million US$ plus a whopping 325 Thousand US$ spare parts while big renown international manufacturers such as Tupesa, Milnor, Tonnello, Washex, Ellis, … have not overpassed, as a whole, 650 Thousand US$. Soon after that period, the market for “new” dwindled to virtually non-existing.
· Helped a hand full of potential big customers in securing funds, credit lines, & proper machineries’ insurances with Canadian & American investment/Insurance/Funds institutions with which I priorly established business relations, when their purchases exceeded 475 thousand US$.
· Offered impeccable reliable after sale service in order to accommodate all customers needs & requirements whether in spare parts or in programming in order to honor all prior agreements, sales contracts, credit terms & existing warranties.
· Exercised total sway over the Dominican Industrial Laundries market in overwhelming sales of Turkish Pumice stones, Diatomaceous earth (D.E.) & horticultural perlite; used as abrasives additives to the enzymatic treatment of jeans, twill, etc., as I was the first to introduce & launch these earthly minerals & volcanic stones; managing as a result; for instance, to sell in the first year alone 2002-2003, 400 MT of P. Stones, 275 MT of Perlites & 80 MT of D.E., thus reaching annual sales figures of almost 175 thousand US$ deriving net profits of 100k US$.
· Convoked weekly sales meetings in order to monitor/review progress made as well as to motivate my sales force especially in times of lack of inspirations or low morality, and to listen attentively for any new idea or concern in order to improve/unify our sales vison & goals, to incorporate modifications into a more effective sales strategy & to cement any recent progress made in any rapprochment between some of our international clients & us in order to create customized solutions that aligned with their specific vision & business.
· Convened & attended periodically sales meetings with our major international suppliers to review & exchange our views/agreements/contracts/… on mutual subjects of high concern in order to bring our common goals into more sustainable & profitable ones & most importantly to strengthen our business relationships & friendships ever stronger.
· Planed & coordinated regularly all our (including mine) routinely weekly, bi-weekly, monthly travels & visits to our customers in order to get acquainted better or to strengthen furthermore our existing relationships/bonds, to listen & discuss their feedbacks & concerns but out mostly to offer an unparalleled customer service by keeping them well informed about any new technical advances, innovation & novelty in the textile chemical fields thus offering them always customized cost-effective high performance products in order to render their daily operations better & more profitable by, for example, cutting their process time & by increasing their productivity rate…just to name a few.
