Operations Technician, 05/2009, 01/2015, YOHO FSO Asset– ExxonMobil Nigeria, Offshore, Nigeria, Central Control Room Operator on the VLCC converted Floating Storage and Offloading Facility (FSO)., Crude product quality assurance - treatment and stabilization to meet international quality acceptable for sales., Team lead as Operations Technician on the FSO, with responsibility to maintain the structural stability of the FSO moored on a turret system without ballast., Maintenance of structural integrity – corrosion control and coating maintenance for structural integrity., Crude product measurement with adequate knowledge of custody transfer measurement within approved tolerance limits., Train-the-Trainer on Data Integrity Assurance Framework(DIAF) for reliability, as applicable to crude sampling, analysis, and export., Champion yearly custody meter calibration for prover, fiscal instrument, and meter linearity to meet corporation standards., Daily updates and verification of data in Energy Component (EC) for use by the Contact and Asset Support Engineering Team., Overseeing marine tank cleaning, gas freeing, and ventilation to achieve a working atmosphere for personnel entry., Oversight function for emergency response management – ensuring competent and trained personnel availability on the facility at all times., Operation of inert gas system for positive pressure attainment in crude tanks, during export operations and urging of hydrocarbon., Calculation, batching, and discharge of crude for sales through custody transfer, and meter prove for linearity and concise liquid measurement., Supervision of tanker mooring operations with tandem mooring hawsers., Assigned Measurement Site Contact’s role to assure all the measuring equipment is calibrated within tolerance and compliance with the regulatory standards, and is available for use., Assigned a role of interphase with various regulators in the Oil and Gas business in Nigeria, for assurance on the integrity of ExxonMobil Operations, for continuous license to operate., Updated various Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) that were left without red line markings to reflect additional, removed, or updated process instrumentation and new lines.
