Technical Projects

PLD Circuit

  • Designed a 4-bit prime number detector digital circuit and programmed a PLD (ATMEL ATF16V8B) using WInCupl
  • Utilized WinSim to simulate digital circuit and verified logical functions by analyzing waveform
  • Created PCB layout and schematic with PLD, switches, LEDs, and MOSFETs in Altium

Magnetic Field Controlled Car

  • Programmed PIC32 microcontroller in C to act as a transmitter by sending PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signals to dictate the car's mode of operation
  • Implemented a receiver circuit using the STM32 microcontroller programmed in C, to interpret signals from the transmitter and direct the car's movements
  • Operated oscilloscopes and multimeters to optimize and debug signals and circuits

Digital Combination Lock

  • Designed a Finite State Machine (FSM) along with a logic state diagram for a digital combination lock
  • Implemented a digital circuit for the FSM in System Verilog, and programmed a DE1-SoC board with the completed design
  • Developed testbenches in System Verilog and simulated it at RTL-level and gate-level using ModelSim and Quartus
