I am a young and well experienced construction labourer who also has been a great asset for site operations and leadership. I started my concrete construction career in 2019 as a basic labourer. Throughout my time at Dumont Foundations and Interlock, I was quickly able to learn from my mentors and rise up to become a leader and site operator for the company. I would manage worksites and perform all neccessary tasks, ensuring the jobs were completed and customers were satisfied. My on site experience includes years of working in high demanding physical environments, operating power tools and machines, working with concrete, nonshrink, parge, etc. I am also well experienced in concrete repair and waterproofing.
I would also like to add, in the year 2022 I spent 8 months abroad living on CFB Shilo, training with a mechanized infantry battalion as I was working on a career path with the Canadian Armed Forces.
Through out my time there I worked extremely long hours, getting very little sleep and working and training to the highest of physical demands, often going days without sleep and long hours of physical labour.
Not only did the Army teach me how to function and work hard in tough environments, but I developed great leadership and teamplayer skills, which I will carry with me and use for the rest of my career going forward.
