- Most students were non-verbal with challenging behaviours.

- One on one instruction but there were certain classes such as cooking and drama that I taught in smaller groups.
- Instrumental in integrating students into mainstream culture through work experience program within Windermere.
- Supported students during physical education by providing positive encouragement and modelling.
- Administered G-Tube feeding to certain students.
- Ensured student safety on outings and taught transit training.
- Took small groups of students shopping at grocery stores as part of life skills.
- Basically everything I could do to bring out the best in each individual was and is my primary goal.
